I've been trying to fix this for awhile now, it only started happening about 4-6 days ago. i'm pretty sure that the problem is something to do with realtek audio, i have the version loaded off of. I have already done this, and it did not fix the problem. asus does not have audio drivers for my device, though it is supported for the upgrade to windows 10, as they released an updated atk package and updated touchpad drivers.. If your rog version uses via audio it might also use the same audio chip. if you have via audio and 2.1 sound you will probably run into the same issue . follow the tutorial above and uninstall vdeck or whatever via software you have as you will now configure your sound through the enhancements tab in sound under configure..
